Retraite de Mariano Duchesneau Chers collègues,
Notre collègue Mariano Duchesneau prendra sa retraite prochainement après une carrière bien remplie. En effet, Mariano nous quittera pour un nouveau départ le 14 juin prochain. Mariano a débuté sa carrière le 14 juin 1976 avec Communications Canada, l'un des trois ministères ayant fusionné pour former Industrie Canada en 1993.
Pendant plusieurs années, il a travaillé principalement dans les activités de radiodiffusion. Il est d’ailleurs connu et respecté dans le milieu des diffuseurs qui reconnaissent son expertise et son professionnalisme. Et comme on dit à l’interne, donner un plan de travail (et un volant!) à Mariano, c’est savoir qu’il sera réalisé de façon efficiente et efficace. Mariano a été un pilier en radiodiffusion et il a partagé son expertise avec les autres inspecteurs et plus particulièrement avec la relève ces dernières années. Au cours de sa carrière de 35 ans, Mariano a rempli plusieurs fonctions du programme Spectre et Télécommunications telles que les inspections de navires et les enquêtes. Mariano a démontré sa rigueur, son amour du travail bien fait et sa capacité à relever des défis tout au long de sa carrière. Vous serez conviés très bientôt à une activité de reconnaissance en son honneur.
Je sais que vous vous joignez à moi pour souhaiter à Mariano une merveilleuse retraite.

Retirement of Mariano Duchesneau
Dear Colleagues,
Our colleague Mariano Duchesneau has decided to retire after a well filled career. Mariano confirmed his intention to leave on June 14th 2011. Mariano started his career on June 14th, 1976 with Communications Canada, one of three Departments merged to form Industry Canada in 1993.
For many years, Mariano worked in the broadcasting activities. He is indeed known in the broadcaster’s community as an expert and a talented professional. And as we like to say in the organization, to give a work plan (and wheels!) to Mariano is to make sure that this plan is going to be realised efficiently. Mariano has been a mainstay in broadcasting and he shared his expertise with other inspectors and especially with newcomers. During the course of his 35 year career, Mariano assumed many functions of the Spectrum and Telecommunications program such as ship inspections and investigations. Mariano has demonstrated his rigour, his love for work well done and his capability to meet challenges throughout his career.
I know that you join me in wishing Mariano a marvellous retirement.
