Was Director of the Canadian Government Radio Branch in 1921

He ordered all Ham Operators to dismantle and render inoperative

all radio equipment at the beginning of World War II

Lt. Cmdr C. P. Edwards

1886 - 1960

Lt. Cmdr. C. P. Edwards, retired Deputy Minister of Transport, a pioneer in telecommunications and internationally known for his work in that field, died in Ottawa on July 14 at the age of 74.
