Edward (Ed) Maurice Serink

1934-2014

Ed Serink

It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Edward Maurice Serink on August 28, 2014 at 80 years of age.

Ed will be thoughtfully remembered by his loving wife of 53 years, Elizabeth; three children, AnnaMarie of Edmonton, John (Grace) and their children, Alexander, Janisa, Michael and Lukina of Singapore, and Thomas (Karen) and their children, Teagan, Avery and Julian of Reno, Nevada.

He is also survived by four brothers and one sister; Mike, Verna, Frank (Eileen), Maurice (Mae) and Stanley (Gladys); as well as numerous relatives. He was predeceased by his parents, Metro and Anne Serink; granddaughter, Eleni; brother, Peter; and Koom Stan.

Special thanks to Dr. Norman McDonald and associates; and to the excellent homecare nurses and respiratory technologists for their kindness and attentive care during the last few months. They are truly angels of mercy.

We would also like to extend thanks to Father Janko for his many visits and spiritual guidance for all of us and especially for Dad.
