Special Private Receiving Station Licence

1951

Licence spéciale de poste radiorécepteur privé

During the early days of radio it was required by law to hold a licence to operate in your home what we consider today to be an ordinary radio. The permit was issued annually for a fee of $2.00. See two examples of such licences issued in 1951. (copies submitted by Maurice Thériault and Irvine Larkin).
